This Privacy Policy explains how Me-Cuisine, LLC, operating under the trade name PostMeld
("PostMeld," "We," "Us," or "Our"), collects, uses, and protects information when you visit
postmeld.com or use any of our online tools.
By using our website or tools, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
a. Information you provide directly
- Contact form submissions — name, email address, and the contents of your message.
- SEO Audit Tool submissions — the URL you submit for analysis and, optionally, an email address.
- Project intake — any information you provide when booking a call or signing a Statement of Work.
b. Information collected automatically
- Technical request data — IP address (truncated to the /24 subnet for IPv4 before storage), user agent string, and the referring page.
- Audit metadata — for each SEO Audit Tool run, we store the audited URL, the resulting score, summary check results, and a timestamp.
- Server logs — AWS CloudWatch retains anonymized access logs for up to 90 days for security and debugging.
c. What we do NOT collect
- We do not use third-party advertising trackers, behavioral profiling cookies, or cross-site tracking pixels.
- We do not store payment card data; payments (when applicable) are processed by independent providers governed by their own privacy policies.
- We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under the age of 13.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To deliver the service you requested (e.g., return your SEO audit, reply to your message).
- To improve our tools and content based on aggregate usage patterns.
- To send occasional follow-up communications — for example, if you provided an email when running an SEO audit, we may contact you with the report results or related offers from PostMeld. You can opt out at any time by replying "unsubscribe" or emailing us (see Section 10).
- To prevent abuse, fraud, and bot traffic (see Section 4).
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
3. Legal Bases for Processing (EU/UK Visitors)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases under GDPR:
- Performance of a contract — to deliver services you've requested.
- Legitimate interests — to operate and secure our website, prevent abuse, and contact you about results you've voluntarily requested.
- Consent — for marketing communications, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Legal obligation — where required by law.
4. Third-Party Services
We use a small number of carefully selected third-party services to operate the site and tools. Each is briefly summarized below; please consult their own privacy policies for full details.
a. Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection)
We use Cloudflare Turnstile on our SEO Audit Tool and other forms to confirm that submissions come from real humans rather than automated bots. When you load a page containing the Turnstile widget, your browser communicates with Cloudflare and Cloudflare may process limited technical data (such as your IP address, browser characteristics, and interaction signals) to make a bot-or-human determination. Turnstile does not use tracking cookies and Cloudflare does not use Turnstile data for advertising.
For full information about how Cloudflare processes data through Turnstile, please review the official
Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Policy.
b. Amazon Web Services (AWS) — hosting
The PostMeld website and back-end services are hosted on AWS (CloudFront, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Secrets Manager). AWS may process request metadata (IP address, request headers) to deliver content and prevent abuse. See the AWS Privacy Notice.
c. Web3Forms (contact form delivery)
Contact form submissions are delivered to us via Web3Forms. See the Web3Forms Privacy Policy.
d. Other CDN-hosted assets
We load fonts and a small number of JavaScript libraries from public CDNs (Google Fonts, jsDelivr, Tailwind, Flowbite). These providers may log basic technical request data such as your IP address as part of serving the asset.
5. SEO Audit Tool — Specific Disclosures
- The URL you submit is fetched once from our servers, parsed, and analyzed. We do not store the fetched page content.
- We store an audit record containing: the submitted URL, the resolved hostname, the resulting score, a summary of check results, your truncated IP address (e.g.
192.0.2.0 instead of 192.0.2.123), your user agent, the referring page, and a timestamp.
- If you provide an email address, it is stored alongside the audit record so we can follow up with you about the results.
- Audit records are retained indefinitely so we can recognize repeat usage and improve the tool. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 7).
- Each submission is verified by Cloudflare Turnstile (see Section 4a) to prevent automated abuse.
6. Cookies and Local Storage
PostMeld does not set first-party tracking cookies. We use browser localStorage to remember your theme preference (light or dark mode). Cloudflare Turnstile may set short-lived first-party cookies on pages that include the widget; these are strictly necessary for bot protection and are not used for tracking.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address in Section 10. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Data Retention
- Contact form messages — retained as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your inquiry.
- SEO audit records — retained indefinitely unless you request deletion.
- Server logs — retained for up to 90 days, then automatically deleted.
- Client records under a signed SOW — retained as required by our Terms and Conditions and applicable tax/legal obligations.
9. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including HTTPS in transit, AWS-managed encryption at rest, scoped IAM permissions, secrets stored in AWS Secrets Manager, and Web Application Firewall (WAF) protection on our API endpoints. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your information has been compromised, please contact us immediately.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
